Bracelet, Roman, 3rd C [d/b]

Roman gold bracelet, probably dating from the 3rd century in the Middle East during the Roman period. The bracelet is made of pure gold. There is a ring of Gulf pearls fixed by gold wire in the middle of the body. Although after more than a thousand years, the bracelet is still very well preserved.

In 2016 in the National Museum of China there was an exhibition “Pearls: Treasures from Rivers and Oceans”.
