Hellenistic medallion found in Mongolia

Silver medallion (phalera), diameter 14.3 cm, with a mythological scene depicting Artemis, Dionysus and Satyr [Natalia V. Polosmak]
Found at one of the Noin-Ula’ burial ground of the Xiongnu nobility in Northern Mongolia.

Made late 2nd – mid 1st century BCE, in a Pontic workshop probably [M. Treister]
