“Articulated bracelet composed of a flat worked band, enhanced with three projections, the edges of the band and a pseudo-granulation wire which connects six bezels originally alternating sapphires and pearls. There is only one pearl left. Part of the headband can pivot and open with a hinge to allow passage of the arm. Pin clasp.
This type of articulated bracelet with openwork decoration and precious stones appears in the 3rd century, and will be taken up again in the 5th century.”
