The neck ring is made of solid gold and can be opened at the front. A round gold capsule decorated with granulation and filigree with a green glass button in the center serves as a closure and eye-catcher at the same time. It has an opening on the underside into which the second end of the tire can be hooked. The precious piece of jewelry comes from a grave find that was discovered by chance in 1855 in what was then the Hungarian town of Czéke (now Cejkov, eastern Slovakia). The inventory of the grave includes jewelry made of precious metal, eating and drinking utensils and other items of Germanic or Roman provincial origin.
