Segment openwork necklace made of gold with garnets. Gemstones from the clasp parts are missing. Probably from Egypt, 500-600 Late Antique / Byzantine. Almost 5 cm at its widest point.
The black and white photos below show the necklace before it was restored. Notice the strings of pearls/beads on the back sides.
