An earring from Mes Aynak, a Buddhist site in Afghanistan.

Gold earring with a pomegranate under an Indian arch. Decorated with pearls, inlaid with turquoise and lapis lazuli. Exact date is not given, 3rd-7th century will be the more accurate period.
