“Pendant with an agate insert oval in plan, the edges of the stone are fixed with a two-sided frame of multidirectional teeth, framed with filigree wire both on the front and on the reverse side; on the front side, the product is decorated with two belts of ribbons with soldered wire “pigtails” arranged crosswise, the intersection of the ribbons is decorated with a six-beam rosette with a ball of granulation in the center; in the upper part, a relief loop for hanging is soldered to the frame; the stone is slightly convex on the front side, flattened on the back.” [Vladimir Erlikh]

Fibula-brooch from the second half of the 2nd century BC, male burial. Diadkovsky 34 burial mound [Дядьковский курган], Korenovsky district of Krasnodar region.
The central part features a large, convex oval insert of bluish-gray smoky chalcedony, measuring 22 x 31 mm. The casing is made from a strip of metal and soldered at a right angle to the shield plate. Rows of wire are soldered onto the outside of the casting. Two metal strips with jagged edges are laid crosswise on top of the stone inside the casting.
