Crescent-shaped gold plaque, Eastern Han Dynasty, collected from Siziwang Banner, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia. In the shape of a half moon, the lines of the deformed bird pattern are outlined with small gold beads, which is suspected to be a simplified image of Griffin.
