The fabric shows a dense sequence of ornaments and motifs that are well known from other Late Antique textiles. However, they are usually not arranged afer each other with almost no gaps in between. Several rows of ornament stripes (clavi) with different widths and motifs are depicted, including pendants (sigilla).
In addition, two rows with rectangular ornaments (tabulae) are arranged in registers. Significantly, the last row remained unfinished.”
