“Linen shroud with an Osiride representation of the deceased in the center, surmounted by a winged scarab and surrounded by funerary deities. The head is shown slightly turned and represents a lady with black hair, wearing ear drops. Her hands protrude from the mummy wrappings and hold the crook and flail. Repaired and mounted by W.J. Young, 1951/52.”

Said to be from Akhmim; Egyptian, Roman Imperial Period, mid 1st–late 1st century; painted linen.
