Ornaments of a bridle, 1st century, Dachi burial ground, Rostov region [d/b]

Part of a bridle set with ornaments, gold and silver chains and gold tubes. Ornaments are made of gold with carnelians, white agate, and blue glass paste in the frame. Nine phaleras, differing in size are part of the decoration of the horse’s headband. The base of each phalera is made of bronze. Between the phaleras on the leather stripes there were threaded tubes.
7.8×6.8×1.1 cm; 5.9×5.05×1.2 cm; 6.8×6.0x1.2 cm
Last quarter of the 1st century.
