Relief of a woman with a child [sister], Palmyra 200-225 CE [Museum of Leiden, Netherlands] [d/b]

Funerary relief of two sisters, Shalmat en Akakmat. 200-225 CE;

two inscriptions:

“Woe / Alas, whb ‘/ Jeshiba’s daughter, slmt / Shalmat”

To the left of the child’s head is written:

“Aqimat, woe / alas! Walhib’s daughter”.

There are traces of gilding, and a blue paint on rings.
