Fig. 53. A wide-necked flask made of two soldered halves: a flat back and a convex front. The neck, with its relief collar ornament, is specially crafted and then soldered to the body. The convex surface is outlined with a row of granulation balls. A vertical plate dividing the flask’s surface into two equal halves is also edged with rows of granulation. On the free surface are four round cells with coral inlays (two are missing). The neck collar has two holes for securing the stopper with a pin. Mus. Petrop., p. 193, no. 8; Akadem.
