An intact grave of a young woman with unique gold jewelry from the beginning of the 2nd century was discovered in 2025 near the village of Kapitan Petko Voivoda in the province of Topolovgrad, Bulgaria.

Among the finds are massive gold hemispherical earrings found in the head area, and a gold agraffe-brooch with a cameo – a female / Eros head carved in high relief.

Other artifacts discovered include a bronze tripod-type table with legs in the shape of mythical sirens, an extremely rare find for the territory of the Roman Empire, a toilet chest, as well as glass and ceramic vessels, a bone urn, and leather shoes.
